Spray Painting Apprentice - Based in Paisley
The Modern Apprenticeship Programmes is available for those who want to work full time and have the opportunity to earn while they learn and to put theory into practice within an automotive training environment.
As well as attending the training centre for week block release of training, regular assessment and reviews will be undertaken within the apprentice's own workplace which aims to ensure they have the required skills to successfully complete their apprenticeship.
What Might a Typical Day in this Job look like?
You will be based in the paint shop and will learn all aspects of preparing vehicle surfaces for masking, priming and painting before buffing and polishing the paintwork of the panel to a suitable finish.

What qualifications or qualities are required?
You must have or expect to gain National 4 or above in English, Maths, and a Science or Craft subject. Standard Grade 1-4 and Intermediates are also accepted.
