Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £6.52 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm
About the Role
You will ensure that the Parts department provides an effective service to the other departments in the company, and the retail customers.
The main duties of the role are:
- Ensure that duties are carried out according to documented operational procedures
- On receiving Parts deliveries, informing the Parts staff of the delivery and assisting to check off deliveries to ensure correctness to order and specification
- Allocate parts to correct bin locations
- Receipt parts onto computer
- Assist van drivers to load Parts delivery vans
- Complete returns note for parts to be returned to suppliers
- Make up kits for Parts sales
- Ensure that the department is kept clean, tidy and safe
- Answer phones and serve at the back counter
- Deal with technical enquiries and if unsure to ask for assistance from a qualified Parts person
- Ensure that all parts are charged out correctly against relevant account with correct quantities and discount
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum National 4 qualification in English and Maths or equivalent
- Right to work in the UK
- A willingness to commit to completing the apprenticeship and achieving the required standards.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a professional approach.
- Ability to travel to the workplace and training centre as required.
