What Might a Typical Day for a Parts Advisor look like?
- Assisting customers to order the right parts
- Receiving and dispatching parts
- Helping solve customer enquiries face to face and over the phone and email
- Process sales transactions, including raising invoices and credits for goods supplied and handling returns
- Co-ordinate with other departments, such as the service desk and the workshop
- Compile parts from job cards for repairs being carried out in the workshop.
We are a small team, with a Parts Supervisor, a Parts Advisor and warehouse operatives, so you will be involved in everything we do and gain a lot of hands-on experience throughout your apprenticeship.
What will I learn?
Regular assessment and reviews will be undertaken within the apprentice's own workplace which aims to ensure they have the required skills to successfully complete their apprenticeship.
What qualifications or qualities are required?
You must have or expect to gain National 4 or above in English and Maths.
What personal qualities are required?

- You are able to prioritise and work to timelines.
- A willingness to work in a practical environment using your own initiative.
- Good IT skills and an ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly

- A full UK Driving licence preferred but not essential.
